When our hope is in God, it can never be moved or shaken. This hope changes how we live and puts us in the position where God does the work in us only he can do.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:16-28

Bringing us into his church is one of the greatest gifts God gives us on this earth. To experience the fullness of this blessing, we must follow God's commands on how to live out church.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-15

Since God has clearly told us that Jesus will come again, we must be watchful and ready for his return.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11

The Bible tells us that as Jesus rose from the dead so shall we. This promise from God gives us a certain and unshakable hope, which encourages us as we face life and death.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

God tells us that Jesus endured the cross "for the joy set before him." Looking at how the cross brought Jesus joy takes us right into the mind and heart of Jesus and shows us how we can find joy.
Scripture: Hebrews 12:1-2

Jesus exhibited a very costly love on Good Friday. But the greatest cost was not the physical suffering or human rejection; the most devastating cost was accepting God the Father's wrath.
Scripture: Mark 15:33-39

The church must have an inside focus to be truly effective in its outside mission. We are to be in the world not of the world but for the world.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:9-12

Having a true faith in Jesus means that we follow him as our Lord. This means that we desire to please God in every square inch of our lives, which includes our sexuality.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

Giving to the Lord

Everything we have has been entrusted to us by God, and he then wants us to use it for his glory. Through this God tests whether we trust in the true promises of God or in the false promises of money.
Scripture: 2 Corinthians 9:6-15

Living for experiences in this life misses the mark because it doesn't prepare us for the greatest experience we can ever have, an overwhelming joy which will never end.
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 3:6-13
